The book focuses on one single aspect of breeding: the delivery. With only one goal - describing a large number of deliveries in dogs - the author provides an insight in the backgrounds of this wonderful phenomenon. After reading the book you have the impression of having been present at countless deliveries. The book also addresses the differences between breeds and the abnormalities. The form is a rather dull and scientific one, but it remains interesting because of the details and the numeric tables.
