The second edition of the book by these two writers (a vet and a breeder) has been updated with the latest information. Besides all the technical issues such as the heat, mating, pregnancy, delivery, raising pups and the problems related to these, there is also room for responsibility and ethical aspects. A number of black and white photos and a larger number of funny drawings illustrate the text. In the back is an overview of breed specific data and an overview of congenital, hereditary and breeding related diseases and abnormalities.
